Win a signed set of The Rosie Black Chronicles

The Rosie Black Chronicles is an action-packed, fast-paced series set in the not-too-distant future.  There are corrupt organisations, secret plans, a killer virus, rebellions, space travel, a colony on Mars, a touch of romance, and a butt-kicking main character, Rosie Black.  Dark Star, the dramatic conclusion to The Rosie Black Chronicles has just been released in Australia and NZ (you can read my review here).

To celebrate the release of Dark Star Walker Books have given me a signed set of The Rosie Black Chronicles to give away.  All you have to do to get in the draw is leave a comment telling me Who is your favourite butt-kicking book character? Competition closes Wednesday 28 November (Australia and NZ only).

Thanks to everyone who entered.  The winner is Christine.

  2. my favorite butt kicking character is Rosie Black
Lara Morgan is a Awesome author who writes of corrupt organisations, secret plans, a killer virus, rebellions, space travel, a colony on Mars and other subjects written into her stories to alert and make the reader think about what is happening in our world today.which also makes her books so interesting to read as you connect with them on a higher level. .
i would love to be able to read and own her full set as I have only read 1 of her books and would love to continue to read her series ,and a signed set would be Awesome and so special something to treasure for ever 🙂

  3. My favourite butt kicking character is Katsa from Graceling by Kristin Cashore. But with so many great butt kickers out there it was a close call, in fact though I started writing this comment with Katsa as favourite, I changed it to Sabriel (from the book of the same name by Garth Nix), and then I changed it back again! 🙂

  4. Lots of awesome butt-kicking characters out there but for me, my most fave ever would be Alanna of Trebbond -Song of the Lionness quartet by Tamora Pierce. She’s brainy, witty, sword-wielding, horse-riding, and overall toughness as well as favored by the goddess. She would let nothing get in her way of being the first female knight -her ambition, vision, and resilience is totally admirable. But of course, she also kicks some serious bad butts to learn them their lessons!

  5. My favourite kick ass heroine is Rose Hathaway from author Richelle Mead’s ‘The Vampire Academy’ series….Rose is a half-vampire with poor impulse control 🙂

  6. My favourite butt-kicking character is a tie between Katsa from Graceling by Kristin Cashore and Alanna from Alanna: The First Adventure by Tamora Pierce. They’re both so awesome.
