Between the Lines Book Trailer
Between the Lines is the latest book from best-selling author, Jodi Picoult, which she co-wrote with her daughter Samantha van Leer. I’ve never read a Jodi Picoult book before but Between the Lines sounds really exciting. The book itself is quite a work of art, with different coloured fonts and colour illustrations throughout. I can’t wait to go Between the Lines.

The Prisoner of Heaven Release Day
Carlos Ruiz Zafon’s sequel to The Shadow of the Wind, called The Prisoner of Heaven is released in Australia and New Zealand today from one of my favourite publishers, Text Publishing (based in Melbourne). Carlos Ruiz Zafon is my favourite author and The Shadow of the Wind is my favourite book so you can imagine how excited I am to read the sequel. I can’t wait to immerse myself in Carlos’ Barcelona and return to The Cemetery of Forgotten Books.
The Prisoner of Heaven is an adult book (one of the few that I’ll read this year) but Text have also published several of his Young Adult novels in English. The Prince of Mist and The Midnight Palace are dark, atmospheric, gothic stories for teens and adults alike.

I’m so excited about this book! Insurgent is Veronica Roth’s sequel to Divergent, one of my favourite books of 2011. I loved Divergent even more than Hunger Games and I can’t wait to find out what happens to Tris and Four. Slide Book Trailer
Slide by Jill Hathaway is about a girl who can ‘slide’ into other peoples bodies for a brief time. She has narcolepsy and when she passes out she slides into other people’s heads and ends up seeing through their eyes. Then, one day she finds herself in the head of a killer, who is standing over the body of one of the girls from her school. I’m only 50 pages in and the story’s already gripped me.

172 Hours on the Moon book trailer
172 Hours on the Moon is a chilling sci-fi thriller by Norwegian author Johan Harstad. It’s a creepy, fast-paced read and I spent the whole day yesterday totally engrossed in it. It’s out in NZ on April 1st and my review will follow soon.
